Sir Elton John is back to the basics.

Just heard one of Elton John's new songs from his coming album The Diving Board. If half of the songs on the album are half as good as this, I believe it will be a crowd pleaser. It reminds me a lot of his first several albums which remain my favorites like Tumbleweed Connection, Madman Across the Water, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Honkey Chateau, and Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy.

The only album I really like is "11-17-70" recorded at A&R Studios. You have to get the original though because it was remixed and they ruined the it. Sadly Dave Herman was recently arrested for child pornography and endangerment.
