So, I was thinking about snuff bottles, etc. for the road and thought about a two in one setup...and then thought about my little camping/picnic salt&pepper shaker thing. I did a google search on "camping salt & pepper" and came up with a zillion possibilities, many of which looked workable for carrying two varieties of snuff.

A pic of mine is below.

Good idea?

Looks like the caps screw down, so I think those will work nicely.

I have a wooden snuff box that another forum member gifted me that I use to carry around my weekly supply. It has a little compartment with slim wooden spoon, a tap box style hole and a lid that slides up for refilling. Very cool.

I use these kinds of containers with a varying degree of success for storage.

The container on the left is from www.lacons.com. They were recommended by several snuff forum people as the best plastic snap close container for long term storge. The middle is a glass screw cap apothecary bottle (really nice), the container on the right is completely airtight, but not too big. Somedumbjerk (jeb) gave me about six of these. I wish I knew where he got them. I'd buy 3 dozen if I could..

Was that the same link as the snuff bandolier guy? Not sure if I saw it otherwise.

I think the Duo thing is great. Toque Coke on the salt side, WOS Whiskey on the pepper? Ah Yeah...:p
