I have also seen/read this one written this way: "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both."

Both are absolutely true. After all, Patrick Henry did NOT say "Give me security or give me Death!!" FTRPLT

The one I posted is from his memoir, but I think it was one of his favorite sayings. I have seen it about a half dozen different ways that has been accredited to him. Ben sure was full of great ideas.

Oh hunny that's so cute, but its wrong! You'd be amazed at what will get you an FBI file. In fact I'm pretty sure you have one already. If you or your husband is military or ex military you have one. Anyone in your family has ever worked for a casino, you have one. If you have ever filed for certain licenses (i.e. ATF), you have one. This list is far from complete. You can file a freedom of information request and find out for sure but be prepared for lots of red tape.

BTW so right on the quotes. These are troubling times.
