I've run across the term "Acadian Perique" and somehow I got the impression that this was different from St. James Parish Perique.

Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks,
TLA

My understanding is that Acadian is a blend of St. James perique and St. James is straight perique unblended. The Acadian is more expensive and most of it goes to the American Spirit company for their cigarettes.

Many thanks, Drums.

Looks like a good article.

I'll jump on tomorrow as I'm succumbing to the sandman right about now.
