I was sitting at home and got an email from John Crosby about a new pipe available. I swear, I opened the email and fell in love. I emailed immediately that I wanted it. In about a half-panic, I grabbed the cellphone and dialed his number. He answered right away and chuckled. Said he was reading my email. I don't think he has ever sold a pipe so fast.

Didn't matter the cost at the time. I had to have that pipe. Superb ringblast.
