Congratulations, John, that's a pretty spectacular achievement in this perilous age. I noticed a post above in which the writer said he'd been tenured at two (!!!) universities. I've wondered if tenure could confer welcome security, but disciurage the tenured from moving on to a better job. But it soulds as if you could now fire them, but they can't fire you. Now how can you beat that? I hope you're sleeping like a baby A baby with a pipeful of Escudo, naturally.
