The A-maize-ing Ozark Southpaw Corn Cob Tamper

Ed James (Ozark Southpaw Pipes) knows that I love a good cob pipe. So, in his generosity and with much Christmas spirit, he hooked me up with this super-slick corn cob tamper.

I'm not sure if Ed would have made it if he had known how much extra work it was going to take beforehand, but I'm glad that he did. My poor, beat-up cobs are almost embarrassed to be seen with it since it outclasses them so much.

I'm trying to talk him into it, Dutch. They take quite a bit of work. It's not easy to get a smooth, glossy finish on a cob. I think he'll make them on commission though.
