All the music of the O Brother Where Art Thou? movie, performed by the original soundtrack's players.

The show was in 2001 at the Ryman, put on as a fundraiser. Magic moments throughout, and the sound quality is excellent.

Especially poignant because John Hartford was the emcee (and also played some). It was his last public performance before dying a few weeks later from cancer.

The best hour and 38 minutes you'll spend this month.

I listen/watch this about once a month! Some really great performances. One minor correction: Hartford died a year and a week later...or so. It was recorded May 24, 2000, Hartford died June 4, 2001.

Awesome!!

I discovered these guys recently. Progressive bluegrass. Jazz influence....<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pk3O38cXQOI" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" loading="lazy" allowfullscreen></iframe>
