Jesse, when I posted that vid, I thought that pipe had you written all over it. I suppose that means you are branching outside your favorite classic shapes!

Just hold off on carving anything that resembles a pancreas. They aren't ready for that yet here on BoB.
I'm not branching out at all. When I make a Chheda pipe I try and make sure it's not a Jones. I want the Chheda aesthetic to stay distinct from the shapes I really like to do. If I didn't what would be the point of maintaining my brand.

Regardless, my preferences do peek through from time to time. I'm glad you liked this one!

Jesse, I stand corrected. It is certainly a gorgeous pipe, and has all the qualities I look for, and none of the ones I dislike.

Hopefully it will hang around long enough that I can fit it into my budget! I'm anxious to see what you create in the future, whether Chheda or Jones nomenclature.

Now this one I really like!

Chris Asteriou recently posted this Author on Facebook.  It was lust at first site, so I commissioned the identical finish pipe, but under 50 grams (that one was close to 60).  I should see it in a few months.

I saw that pipe, above, Dutch. Only five grand--what's stopping you?
Richard, when it comes to pipes and women, it usually doesn't cost much if you're only looking. ;)

I don't like Dunhills, at all really, but I did just see this one pop up on eBay. It's a birth-year pipe, too, but it's unfortunate I can't afford it. Shame, shame.

Just to make you feel better, the bit has been over-polished by a lunatic. You're welcome. :rabbit:

It actually looks like toothmarks more than over-polishing, but it could perhaps be a bit of both. I just like the shape more than anything really.

I do too, but the edges of the bit (where it joins the shank) are rounded off. I hate that, and kills the deal for me.

[Later:] The pic above does make it look worse than it is, I have discovered. But the seller's name, vaffanculo1, doesn't inspire confidence.
