Just received an e-mail from Mark Tinsky via his newsletter re: the '14 Xmas pipe release. This year the style is a Dublin and as usual he offers many different finishes and prices. I happen to love the Dublin style and will be considering one of these when funds can be made available. Here's what Mark had to say in the newsletter-
Hi All
The 2014 Christmas pipe is making its on line debut tonite. I began working on it since this summer and after some trial and error got the pipe I was looking for! It's a long tall Dublin excellently balanced with a slim stem accent ring made of faux ivory or becoute. The walls are generous and should give a fairly long cool smoke. The dimensions are 2" H x 1.75" W x 5 3/8" L and weighs 50 gm.
I had to use larger blocks than normal which I've been putting aside for years and most should yield some good grains. I hope you will enjoy it for many years to come.
I've also added a Dress Blast finish as well as changing up the Dress Coral, using a natural smooth top and stamp panel for greater contrast. Also new is Pristine Root, a finish I've been using sporadically for a few years to mimic the orig uphill finish. I haven't gotten the Morta blast back yet so a picture will be added when it comes in. A direct link to the Christmas pipe section is:

I hasten to add, I have no affiliation with Tinsky pipes other than I like them and have a couple. Just thought I'd share some pipe porn!
