Pretty good flick about the Irish in 1920's..

Also paints an interesting picture of occupation forces, the sad part is its a very true picture of EVERY occupation force that ever was, is, and ever will be..

I'm man enough to admit there was a scene or two that got me eyes damp..
 
Never heard of it but I'll have to look it up. There's so much crap in movies and television that I'm a pushover for a well done movie.
 
Its about the Irish Civil War & the struggle for independence...
There's a typical amount of ' war movie' violence, and a wee small bit of cursing.

The Irish struggle for freedom has always been a great backdrop for movies.
 
It's a great movie!! I have seen it at least 5 times!! A true depiction of Mick Collins and that traitor DeValera :twisted: :tongue: Ken
