Trying something new

I know some of you cut up your flake and rub it out. I found a sharp scissors and cut up some Wessex Burley Flake and just put it in a large bowled straight pot. It smoked great! This was a lot easier than using my manual herb grinder or rubbing out the tobacco prior to putting it in the bowl. I have a lot of flake tobacco and don't smoke it as much because it takes too long to rub it out. I'm going to do this more often.

I also do this with FVF since the thickness of the flakes make it hard to rub out. Works a treat!

I too prefer the scissors method. Much easier and less messy.
Though, I do rub just a little after cutting.

yup.I too use this method on Gawith blends. Makes it into a cool cube cut.

I just tried this for the first time. Very nice. I guess an old dog can learn new tricks.
