I purchased a couple of these 18 months ago because I liked their looks, needed some "travel" pipes, and owed some dues to a local B & M One is a well designed billiard and the other is 1/4 to 1/8 bent acorn. I expected them to be good smokes because I trust the B & M. But, Lo and behold, these are two of the best smoking pipes I've ever owned. They're probably overpriced if you look at the quality of the grain and the silver bands, but they have pretty comfortable, if not perfect, "hand cut" bits and (did I say?) they look good. They pass the cleaner test and seem to be otherwise well made. I do suspect the briar since they seem to take dings easily .But the bottom line is that they are great smokers, at least for me. Has anyone else tried these pipes? I'm going to buy a third regardless of what is said here, but it would be much easier if I'm told that I'm not insane. Thanks.
