OK guys, I've seen these pipes before. They're obviously old-world European, that I understand, but is there a specific type or name given to these types of pipes? Are they simply called a lidded pipe or .....? I really dig some of these old world pipes, though I would think they'd be a bit on the heavy side, no? Thanks.

Bavarian/Austrian. They probably have a name but I don't know it unless it's Yaeger (?)

Originated in the Tyrolean Alps(Austria/Italy) it is common in both countries and somewhat in Bavaria. Now days they are sold more as souveniers, but can be functional.
