Hello, my friends! I have been away for some time, but you all know how this place is. You can't stay away forever. Just thought I'd poke my head in and say howdy. Howdy!
Long story short, life went and got real busy on me for a bit there. A little of the unexpected. A little of the "Dang, I shoulda seen that one coming." Nothing bad, though. All is well, and all has been well. I just dropped out of a few things for a bit until it all slowed down.
Rest assured, I have have been steadily enjoying my pipes and tobacco. My God and my family are my fortress and my peace, but also what great comfort the briar and the noble weed give you when you need to slow things down.
I hope to be stepping in and out a bit more frequently now that things are (hopefully) slowing up a bit.
