Brought a tear to my eye, which is why I genuinely subscribe to the theory that the more people whom I meet (excluding my fellow pipesmokers), the better that I like my dog, who, BTW, is the Demon Peke.

Personally, I have had only a few dogs. Josh was my best friend for many years and my last dog. He's my avatar. Been gone now, going past 20 years. Have not had another since. Cathy does like most dogs.

But I have been around thousands. Granny ran the Poodle Parlor nearly all my life. In addition to litters she had around the house, she trimmed and bathed just about every dog imaginable. I have dried more dogs and smelled like wet dog more times than I can count.
