2 years go I looked into getting my internet from an outfit near here that distributed it wirelessly, rather than run wire into your house. At that time it was cost prohibitive, Around $200/month for the bandwidth I use with Hutu and NetFlix.
But they now have an "Unlimited" plan. The first 150 GBs is 3 mps down, 1 mps up. I am giving it a hard look. At $49.99/month +$5.00/equipment fee, it is slightly less than ATT DSL. But customer service is located 2 counties away.
Has anyone had experience streaming video at 1 mps? I can live with SD instead of HD.
