Stanwell Melange in a GBD Collector "Militaire"

Trying the last of the 10 pipes I purchased from Ben having test driven the other 9 already..... GBD Prehistoric "Colossus" Stanwell Melange.

Just left Edward's shop here in Tampa with a tin of Stanwell "Melange" Tin states: A modern approach to a tradtional mixture. Black Cavendish, toasted Burley, Orientals and bright Virginia. Smoking it now in a GBD "Fantasy"

Big thumbs up on Edwards. I purchased my very first pipe there.... A "basket" Edwards pipe. I'm headed there perhaps tomorrow.

I hope the members here won't mind but I'd recommend visiting some of the shaving forums online, you will find a few of us that cross over from there to find our way at BoB. Most everything you want to know will be answered by very fine gents similar to those helpful ones here.

Haven't checked back with your guys for awhile now. I am happily smoking my Pre-War Custombilt and appear to have any pipe acquisition disorder in check. I occassionally smoke my original pipe that I bought from Edwards Pipe & Tobacco Shop in Tampa as well. Three other ebay estate pipes don't...

Savanelli "English Mixture" in a Tom Howard Custom....bilt....Clone.

I ALMOST bought some "Navy Flake" at Edwards Pipe & tobacco last week but opted for the Savanelli "English Mixture" instead. The Savanelli is growing on me...seems to get better and better. I'm going to try to stick to one tobacco at a time getting started. ( I know...I know...thats no fun...
