I've had this Dunhill for a few years. Never have done any work on it as for as cleaning and all. I'm sure it could get back into working condition with some effort!
This was from a deer rack I found in the woods years ago and just now remembered I had hanging in the barn. I cut this off the rack. Now all I need to do is drill through the center and add a pick then I think it will be complete.
What can I say, WOW! Looking at all your images, I felt as if I had been transported back in time! AMAZING collections! The tobacco memorabilia is just outstanding. Makes my one corner kitchen cabinet drawer with about 12 ounces of various tobacco blends in glass jars look shabby, LOL Very...
I've been using both Dill's as well as Longs. Made an estate pipe purchase on ebay and the seller was awesome and sent along a bag of each plus a tamper as well.

I've had this German made pipe rack for years now. It holds eight pipes as well as having room for tobacco storage. I'm guessing it's from the 50's or early 60's but cannot really tell. Don't quote me on that. I might decide to sell or trade it someday. Right now it's the only rack I have.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Brian, nope sure don't have old pictures of field work. Have a few riding horses though. I don't think they made cameras way back then! :lol!:
puros_bran, I'm livin, in the hollers down by Nolin Lake. Nice to meet a feller Kentuckian here!
Hello, my name is Steve and I have been a resident of Kentucky for 50 years. I grew up working in tobacco fields on hot summer days then freezing while stripping tobacco in a cold barn in the middle of winter during icy snows. Most times this work required a big chew of 'Red Man' or 'Beech Nut'...
