Last friday, the 21sth of october, members of the Dutch Pipesmokers forum were invited by Elbert Gubbels to visit the Royal Gubbels Pipe Factory, makers of Big Ben and Hilson pipes. 21 members showed up and we had a wonderful day. Pics say more the words, so here they are...

Last Sunday we had the second meeting for members of "Pijp Rokers Forum" a Dutch Pipe forum. All members were invited and about 20 showed up. The first time I organized it there were 12 members so the group is getting bigger. We had a wonderfull day, one member brought some whisky's for tasting...

Last Saturday I received a package in the mailbox. I was stunned when I opened it, inside there was an awesome Handmade Larsen straight grain. The pipe was sent to me as a gift by someone I helped selling a collection of pipes. What a gift..... I think it's made before 1963 cause it's stamped...
