I own 5 of Marks Pipes and all are very well crafted and simply fabulous smokers. Yes I do like his light stain work on his smooth briar pipes, but there is something I really like.... that’s my 3 Mark Tinsky pipes that have partial sandblasting work done to the stummel portion. Marks prices are...

I’ve done a number of restorations and can see you’ve done an outstanding job. Not only a perfect restoration but with that shank extension the pipe looks better. Enjoy your next smoke in that beauty. Well done sir
PS, just watched the video you posted. Very nice of you to do...
Now decided to relax and smoke McCranie's Red Ribbon vintage 2008 in my Savinelli 320KS Punto Oro smooth briar pipe. My personal opinion for what it’s worth is the 320 series Savinelli pipes are the best Made Smoking pipes for the price. Well that is for a production line pipe!

In my fully Restored to mint condition: Charatan Belvedere Group 3 with an 18kt Gold Band. An excellent smoking pipe.

Superb work!! I enjoy working with my hands and need to dabble more with a few pieces of old briar which I’ve been saving. Now’s as good a time as any I guess. Still getting use to being retired. Need to hang around my workshop more than the local range. Old habits are sometimes hard to...

Thank you Simple Man
Had the pleasure of meeting him in Europe 1988 and we kept in touch. He was a true man of the Earth. An avid pipe smoker and collector. I was gifted three of his pipes in 2000 and a few more after he passed in 2003. This was a man that gave from the heart, he’s surely...
A movie I watch once a year. One of the stars is an all time favorite of mine. Had the pleasure of meeting him in Europe in 1988, a big fan of pipe smoking.....Charles Bronson. We enjoyed spending a few days together and many bowls of fine European tobacco blends. One thing I’ll say.... we never...
WOW, this is an old thread that’s been reborn! Just to add my 2 cents, my next project will be to fully restore my Lazy Boy lounger From 1978. Yup, I’m the original ownwer and purchased this Lazy Boy that’s still in perfect mechanical working order. Well a few years back I did replace a few...
I’m smoking a pipe longer then most of you have been on this Earth. Now being retired ( finally after 42 years on the job ) I decided to join a forum. Basically I’m not into any form of social media and this is about as far as I’ll go, due to the type of work I retired from. It was an...
