The redcoats really are coming. I am having the same problem in Australia; I used to import pipe tobacco via UPS or USPS with no trouble at all; nowdays, I get charged tax more often than not. We used to be able to import 250g or less for personal use, now the limit is 50g! UPS just charge me...

OK brothers, so I'm enjoying smoking a cob and I hear burley goes great in one - any suggestions for some good burley I can try? Strong is OK, pref not aromatic, though. Cheers.

So... How do I "draft pack" my cob? I tried smoking without the filter last night and I did get a bit of ash in my mouth near the end of the bowl.

Heres a question for you, lads; the cobs I bought have filters in them - if I want to remove this filter, do I need to buy some kind of adaptor? Cheers

Well, after smoking briars for the last 18 months or so (and loving it!), I have finally tried a corn cob pipe - Wow! What a great smoke from a pipe that was literally around $5 new. I knew they had a big following but having tried them now I am pretty impressed. Cob on, brothers! :king:

I got my Pipe Magie a couple days ago - daaaayum, it's handsome! Great lighter, too. The flame is really soft and easy to control. Really pleased with it.

Omg, just tried JackKnife Plug [ready-rubbed] and it is almost perfect! Wow. Will be ordering some more very soon.
