Is it just me? John Cotton's Smyrna vs Balkan Sobranie?

Dan here. I'm one of the guys behind the Standard Tobacco Co of Pennsylvania. The truth is, you are all correct. All tobacco is the same, we just change the tin art. The rest is testament to the power of suggestion.

I'm the same way. And I have way too many tins of great tobacco to prove it.

    A Refugee from PM

Ottsville is southeast of me, a very beautiful area, where the land starts to head down to the Delaware River. Lots of creeks and little ravines, as well as wonderful views out towards rural Northwestern New Jersey. My daughter goes to overnight camp near Ottsville and is in the Quakertown...

Can anyone recommend a good pipe refurbisher?

If Mr. Norwood is a male model, then yes, that might be him. If mr. Norwood repairs pipes for a living, then, no, that is not him. (honest answer: That is a stock photo, not Mr. Norwood) I have two pipes with Mike at Walker's, I'll report back when they arrive home in mid-December.

Lighter iD's, Left to right: Zippo Dunhill Rollagas in silver plate, circa 1960 ( a pleasure to use) Superior lift arm, pre WWII (very much like the pre-war Dunhill lift arm) IM Corona Old Boy, circa 2013 (Butane. A great lighter) Dunhill did make petrol lighters in the lift-arm style, and I...
