Just finishing this bowl of undated McCranies Red Flake in a straight smooth brown post-WWII Derby Natural Grain billiard (Sasieni) with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Had a fun chat with one of my best friends in the comics world. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Angels-Red Sox game.

Grand weather and temps this afternoon. Indulged myself with a bowl of at least 50 year old Original Larus Bros. Edgeworth Sliced in a modified MM Original cob with a cob extension and gently bent elongated shank. Followed up with a mere 10 year old CH in another modified tall cob with a two-knuckle bamboo extension and acrylic "faux" amber stem. Both cobs were originally owned by our late brother, FishNBanjo/Slainte Guliani (may have misspelled his name!!). I have about 2 ozs. of the Sliced remaining, but have several of the European made (last made in 2005 IIRC) 3.5 oz. tins in reserve.
Have fun with the eclipse tomorrow!!! FTRPLT

Almost half way through this bowl of KBV Roman Soldier in a 1935 small, straight smooth dark brown Irish Free State K&P (Peterson) billiard with a silverish cap military mount and tapered black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe lately.

Here's the correct spelling of his name: Sante Guiliani. He was a great man and a great friend to me. :)

Half way through this bowl of Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem.

Smoking a cigar - Quintessa rubusto - well aged in my humidor since 2014. Full bodied, a beautiful gar. In the mancave. Watching it rain. Drinking a 17 yr old Macallan after a dinner of Brussel sprouts and lean hamburger
Do you store cigars in their own hermetic wrap in the humidor? Separate compartments? I often wonder if unwrapped cigars in a humidor "cross pollinate". At the local Thomas Hinds they have a climate controlled room so there is plenty of air circulating to prevent flavours from crossing over.

Here is a picture of my humidor. I made it from Mahogany 25 yrs ago. I have a room humidifier in the bottom. I made it some I could jeeps my gars and pipe tobacco in their original boxes/containers. Works great.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. Near the last quarter of this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

We brought Sam the Scamp and the scampers out in their play pen this evening. Tomato the Brave took one look at them, and immediately wanted to go outside. That boy just ain’t right in the head. :)
