Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of Sutliff The Old Boss 175th Anniversary Blend in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. It goes on sale April 23 at 6 p.m. EST. Still deciding on one particular aspect of this blend. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Braves-Rangers game.

Now smoking year 2002 F&T Cut Virginia Plug in a straight smooth brown 1920s LHS Purex double patent no. 1587048 and 19085630 Real Briar Root Silver Circle 42 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Going to post my The Old Boss review very soon.

Back from the Legion. Almost won the pool tourney. I carried us for 5 games and in the final playoff game we were down to the wire. My partner sunk his ball but left me in an almost impossible position. If I made the shot it was an almost certainty I would scratch and if I didn't make it the other team would as there was no way to hide the ball or snooker them. Anyway having 2017 Frog Morton in an undated Bjarne blasted bent billiard. Lemon water with some of Jim's widdle bergs is my drink. Had 2 big pulled pork sandwiches at the Legion so may skip dinner. Good evening BoBs.

Now smoking year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Time to clean a few pipes. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2020 D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem.

Currently, I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Finished the B&V job, and fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am nearing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a straight sandblasted black post-1938 (Comoy’s) Made in England Ancestor bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Abner the Eager came over a couple of times to eat, and get a little attention. I know he wants inside, and looks sad when he isn’t let in. On Abner’s first visit, m’lady had to keep him and Harry the Hairy apart so both could eat. Harry scares everybody when he does that mournful howling. Daisy the Feral Princess spent most of the day snoozing on the couch. Haven’t seen Tomato the Brave today, but since there’s no more rain, I figure he’ll show up sometime.

Same old story with Sam and the scampers. Sometimes, they drive Sam crazy, and she jumps out of the playpen, for some relief. She stays close by to watch them when she does that. She’s a great mother. Long tail has really taken to us. She spent a little time on m’lady’s lap this evening. At one time, Sleepy Suzy checked Long Tail out, and was very unhappy to see LT in “her” space. She hissed LT, and came over to me. I settled her down.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. With any luck, I'll close out the day with this smoke. Reading baseball box scores.

Here's more Long Tail photos. I like the one with her mom.

I forgot how quickly kittens grow into "trouble" size! It's going to go from wrestling to racing soon. They'll outgrow the "Octogon" soon.

Smoking some Bayou Morning on a cool and crisp Ozark morning. Smoking it in a 1979 Dunhill Bruyere 51031, a pipe I brought back from the dead after decades of smoking without a cleaning. It now is one of my favorite smokers, a pipe I reach for often. I can now understand why it was so beloved by its previous owner.
