    Jan Pietenpauw retired!?!

So I remembered people raving about Mr.Pietenpauw's pipes a while ago and decided I'd check out his site again. At one point I'd sent an email asking to be put in line for a pipe, but never got a response. As of 2 days ago, it appears Mr.Pietenpauw is no longer making pipes! Does anyone know why?

Hey guys, I'm trying to send money to someone in Russia for a pipe. He's posted a few pipes here and they are beautiful. However, his english isn't very good and my Russian is even worse (as in non existent). I was just wondering if anyone has ever sent money via Western Union before or bank...

    Displaying pipes beyond piperacks?

So, I was looking at my 40 plus pipes and thinking, what would be a good way to store these beauties BESIDES a piperack. I have a few myself, but they always look a bit disjointed and mismatched. Also, you can't see the beautiful profile of the pipe. I'd love to see photos or hear suggestions...

    Anyone ever tin tobacco themselves?

Hey guys, I've been buying and cellaring a lot of tobacco lately and was wondering if anyone had ever tried tinning their bulk blends? I don't even know if it's possible on a small scale, but thought it would be neat to research.

    2 Beautiful Liskey pipes

Well, as promised, here is a review for, not 1, but 2, beautiful pipes carved by the very talented Steve Liskey. I'm not sure how long Steve has been carving, but man can he carve a great pipe! I first saw Steve's work when I was checking out the pipes on rarememories.com. A blowfish carved...

    Mark Tinsky Prince

Hey guys, I just got back from China and had several great surprises waiting for me when I got back. I mentioned in another post that I would like to draw attention to pipe makers that some people may not know or are just below the radar. However, I wanted to start the reviews off with...

David Jones and other amazing pipe artists

I've recently acquired some truly amazing pipes and hope to review them over the next couple of weeks. There are some really great carvers that I don't feel get the attention they deserve, but who make beautiful and excellently engineered pipes. One of these carvers is David Jones, who is...

Where can I get Dan Pipe Limerick in bulk?

Brian McNulty introduced me to this tobacco and I absolutely love it. I'm trying to cellar some, but can only find it in tins eventhough I've heard it's available in bulk. If anybody knows where I can store some, I'd appreciate it:)

    Funny story

So my boss is very keen on getting everybody at work healthy so he set up optional health screenings. He's a hardcore anti-smoker and is also offering all kinds of programs to quit smoking. As an incentive to encourage people to participate, he offered everyone an AMEX gift card to be used on...
