You have to take into account that tobacco will never be any cheaper than it is today. So you should buy now as much as you can afford. You'll be building a cellar and not have to buy as much later as the prices increase over the years.

I don't understand the concerns expressed here. Nobody is forcing you to buy if you don't want to. It's a legal product so what's wrong with that? And you have to be an adult to use Paypal to pay for the items. I have bought a few tins on eBay but it certainly is getting harder to get any kind...

Nice to meet you. The Dutch used to make some nice tobaccos but now that they've gone to Denmark they haven't been the same. I especially liked Troost Special Cavendish.

I'm smoking some that's a year old. I don't find the Latakia overpowering at all. Pleasant smell and a smooth, mellow smoke. I've never had the pre-Orlik stuff either so I can't compare but I like this.

When you open the tin put the tobacco in a plastic baggie. Keep it in the tin and it'll stay fresher. Depending on how much you smoke it'll keep for weeks.

Thanks Smokey. Glad to know Burlington-on-Whyte is still there. I don't get to Edmonton too often and when I do it's usually a rush job to get my shopping done. But I'll have to stop in one of these days.
