If you like Marlin Flake, you should try...

Thread Necromancer Activate! Finally visited Zee Wednesday and grabbed a couple of tins and some bulk esoterica Dunbar. Tins were Blakeney Tawny Flake and and... crap... Can't remember the second tin. Well I just wanted to say that I finally made it out there! Nice place and thanks for the...

I find tobacco to be a lot like beer and scotch in that I always have a favorite but I still love to sample. As tastes change and the seasons come and go I find that my favorite changes every now and again. Thanks for the suggestions, I will certainly look for some of these when I am out and about!

Thanks Kyle, Just reading the reviews and description of this tobacco are making my mouth water. I read "hayloft" in one of the reviews and that is a tin scent that I go crazy for. Thanks for the recommendation!

Hey brothers, I am really REALLY loving my Ratray's Marlin Flake and was wondering if there was something similar in the same style that you would recommend I try? I have a nice cellar of tobacco but I keep coming back to this one for the flavor and the ease of packing and smoking. I am so...

    Mclelland collectors blends

Count me as lucky, or maybe just a bit new to exploring different non-aromatics, but I am enjoying all of the Mc'C's I have on hand right now. I agree that they are often similar but I am enjoying them all the same. The pebble cut and the Christmas cheer 2012 are really doing it for me. FMoTB is...

    notes from a novice

Great to read your story! I am just getting through the first few bowls with my Sav (Bings Favorite) and am really enjoying this pipe. I was a naughty boy and am starting mine out with some Christmas Cheer 2012 a little early and am really loving it. I don't use the balsa filters though, do...

Gone fishing . . . which tobacco to bring?

Looks like fun! My wife and I love the outer banks and will likely retire either out there or up in Asheville when the time comes. Just curious, do you like to enjoy any beverages while you fish and smoke?

I am a big fan of both, sounds great! Being in the music scene up here for the past 2 decades or so, I might know your brother. It is a small world in the capital city.

    What are you smoking?

My first bowl of McClelland Pebble Cut in a Peterson Killarney #B10. I am really enjoying the VaPer's more and more. Tonight I am looking forward to a big glass of Brother Thelonius and and a bowl of Bagpiper's Dream. Come on 5:00 O'clock!

    Hello from Sacramento!

Hi guys, I have been in read only mode here for a few weeks and I finally decided to pop in and say hello. I have been smoking pipes for about 4 years now but until recently I was more into cigars which I still enjoy. I started on aromatics (Bagpiper's Dream and Larsen Signature are favorites)...
