    relighting a bowl

How do you all feel about letting a bowl go out halfway through and then relighting in a day or so. With some blends I seem to have no problem with this and with others, the relight is really funky. What's the general take on this?

The Aromatic That Makes Women Want To Have Your Babies

DAN Sweet Vanilla Honeydew, that stuff has an extraordinary scent when you catch a whiff of it on the breeze.

    pipe vids on toutube

whenever I've tried to look up pipe clips on youtube I end up with these kind of strange fetish videos that appear to be oriented toward the homosexual community (not that there is anything wrong with that). I was a little surprised, being previously unaware of this unusual pipe subculture...

    High Nicotine Content

Thanks for the suggestions. There are some names here that I've tried and some that I haven't. It may be time for me to venture a bit more into ropes and flakes as mostly I've been into ready rubbed. Cool thing about pipes - endless variations and choices to enjoy.

    High Nicotine Content

I'm looking to add some tins that have a notable nicotine kick. Any suggestions out there for some mixtures with good flavor and a potent boost of vitamin N?

    What are you smoking?

    TJ's Cellar

TJ - Forgive a question from a novice here. I notice that only a few tins come with an actual manufacturers date stamp. For the rest, do you just date them from the date of acquisition? It seems to me that in some of the more out of the way tobacconists things have already potentially been on...

    P-lip

My problem with the P-lip is that it seems harder to get a pipe cleaner through it. It seems that the wire tip of the cleaner wants to dig into the wall rather than slide through nicely. The P-lip does seem to cut down on tongue bite for me. I can puff pretty furiously on my Peterson and I...

    Outside humidity effect on tobacco

Out here in the mountain west (western CO) we seem to have the opposite problem. Unless things are sealed really tight they can go dry to the point of crumbling into dust fairly quickly. On the other hand, I don't think we have any of the problems with rust and corrosion of tins like you see...

    Howdy All

Hello fellow pipe-smokers! After lurking for a while I've decided to join in the conversation. Haven't been at it for too long, bought my first pipe (cob) about a year ago. Since then have acquired a couple nice straights (Peterson and Stanwell) from the smokingpipes website. As with most...
