    Anyone drink brandy while piping?

Tried a lot of spirits, ended up with aged premium rums.

    Zippo pipe lighter...

I like the zippo with the zippo pipe insert a lot. I didn't realize the zippo fuel formula changed that much over the past years. For a long time the heavier fractions of the distilate would build up in the lighter because of evaporation and burning off the lighter fractions and it passed on...

Anyone a "prepper"? (At least well prepared?)

No, but there are a few small things I keep in stock just in case. A local copy of wikipedia .. see http://www.kiwix.org/index.php/Main_Page. I keep a good stock of bicycle tires and misc. parts, a tick I got from seeing too many Dutch WWII pictures w/ people riding bikes with wood on their...

    Anyone know what this is?

My first thought was a chillum until I noticed the size. Maybe a mouthpiece for a water pipe?

    Zippo pipe lighter...

My current pipe lighter plain sucks, flame too high, flame too low, stuttering, refusing too ignite etc.. I have been using Zippo like forever, the 1941 replica being my favorite, so I thought I give these a try. Just in the mail..: &

    Problems with Zippo

Once, twice, max. I pull up and cut a wick only once if it wears out[1] and then reweave/replace the next time. If you can workaround the issue with a drop of fuel on the wick you probably have a problem with the capillary action of your wick. It's could be too short, bent too tight somewhere...

    Hi From Amsterdam

From what I gathered the current incarnation of three nuns is from different tobacco strains. A bit of a bummer as I would love to get a good feel for what a few decades in a tin does to a blend. I'll give the current blend a try anyway, if anyone knows a good replica of the original blend, let...

    Hi From Amsterdam

Hi all! I'm a longtime tobacco user fairly new to the pipe. I started smoking as a teenager, mostly shag (rolling tobacco) as I couldn't afford cigarettes. My favorite brand was Drum. Nowadays I mostly smoke Camel cigarettes (EU JTI blend). I keep a bag of Van Nelle zwaar just in case I run out...
