Continuing the trend of smoking pipes I've recently neglected, I'm smoking the current Three Nuns tinned version in a mid-late 1930s straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell with a silver band repair at the shank. Great smoker that's been through God know how many wars before I came into ownership. The nomenclature's almost gone now, and partly covered by the band, but it's still giving really terrific service.

Just finished up a little McClelland Holiday Spirit 2012 in a ( new to me  ) Comoy's Tiger Eye #42. Probably going to have a repeat performance of Holiday Spirit as my last pipe of the night, out of a bent Sav apple.

Who nibbles the moon?
Who takes a bite
Out of its roundness
Night by night,
Till nothing's left
But a crust-and then
Who bakes the moon all over again,
And hangs it up
All round and bright,
And ready for someone
To nibble and bite?
