    Old Dog

    Since McClelland closed its doors and declined to sell its recipes to another company, I have been pining for Old Dog, which was one of my favorites. Has anyone found an acceptable substitute for this fine blend? Does anyone know of efforts being made to duplicate it?

    I'm looking at a pipe on ebay made in the Ukraine of Ukranian briar. Has anyone had experience with this type of pipe material? We all know to avoid Chinese pipes, but what about these Eastern European ones?
