    Pipe ≠ Ago?

I have one of his pieces actually. Although due to translation issues I'm not sure if he makes them himself or if he's working with a team of pipemakers to make them. Anyways I have one and it is actually really nice. My only issue with it is that it's really big I got a straight pot and it's...

Will we see tinned Amphora? Seems expensive for pouched

You hit the nail on the head with this one. A pouch is 40 bucks in BC which is pretty bad. Hilariously Mac Baren tries to sell 100 gram tins up here which go for 80 bucks a tin. I suspect if a 12 ounce tin of tobacco was for sale up here it would go for about the same price as an artisan pipe or...

any perique blends people r liking right now

I popped a tin of McClelland St James Woods last week and it's a pretty interesting VaPer. The red and black Virginias are really really sweet but the peppery perique provides some balance to the blend. I like Escudo better but it's nice to mix things up a bit.

    what is your goto tobacco

It's definitely Escudo although before i met Escudo Sixpence was what I grabbed when I couldn't decide.

What's The Last Whisky/Whiskey You Bought?

Yeah I agree Quarter Cask is quite nice but it's more like 75 dollars in BC. I would definitely recommend picking up a bottle of Ardbeg 10 it's easily my favourite standard Islay offering. But it's more like 100 dollars here.

What's The Last Whisky/Whiskey You Bought?

Last thing I picked up was a bottle of Old Grand Dad because I'm trying to save some money for my wedding. It's pretty damned tasty stuff in my opinion. Definitely worth the money. Before that it was a bottle of Benriach 10 Curiositas which is alright but not my favourite peated whisky that's...

    What Are You Reading?

I've been reading some HP Lovecraft short stories. I've got big book collection of his stories called Necronomicon. Pretty great stuff, although very old fashioned style of short stories. Sometimes he tries to hold off some horrific reveal or twist until the last line but it feels like everyone...

My review of Sutliff Edgeworth RR match.

If you're still looking to scratch that Edgeworth Itch I've heard the Lane Limited Ready Rubbed is a pretty good imitation. Unfortunately it only comes in huge ass 14oz buckets.

    Homemade filter adapter?

Yeah as others have mentioned in my experience it's still a bit of a pain with an adapter. I've got a bent billiard from Savinelli that's annoying that way. The Filter adapter makes the draw a bit too tight for my tastes and it's a very fiddly operation to get a pipecleaner even most of the way...

    Homebrewing Thread

Hey Guys, Personally I do a fair bit of my pipesmoking while brewing up some beer with some friends of mine. I brew beer with the only other person I know in real life that smokes a pipe and I find brewing and piping goes quite well together. Light up the first pipe of the day while getting...
