I'm not one to sing to tracks, nomally. However there is a karaoke contest I have decided to enter because first prize is back stage tickets so see one of my favorite artists.

However, there's a catch. I have to have 100 views before my video is eligible. So if you fellas wouldn't mind, all you have to do is click the link and watch and I will be a happy, happy girl. =)

At some point you must treat yourself to one of the coolest and most amazing songs ever written. The original is a couple steps lower than your range's sweet spot, so you'll have to find the right backing track, but the phrasing and emotion are made for your voice. You would absolutely kill it, I think.

My daughter (sophomore at college) just walked in while I was playing it and asked, "how do you know that song?. Guess you've made me ever so slightly quasi cool for at least a few seconds. But not to worry, I'll open my mouth and out will come a cleaver, witty comment (at least I'll think it is) that will put me right back into the trash-heap of hopelessly outdated, ignorant, neanderthal parents.
