A question about aging tobacco

I age quite a bit of tobacco in the tins. Maybe said already, but just give it a gentle shake from time to time. If it rattles, jar it up ASAP. If not, leave it alone. Unless of course rust is starting to form.
 
You should see a jar of 10+ year old FVF. So many crystals, looks like an old high school culture study from science class. Oh yeah, and boy is it sweet tasting.
