Agree big time! IMO McClelland 2015 will make you forget about Escudo entirely!Brewdude":xfmu37ao said:McC 2015 is my staple. A bit more full bodied, but never fails to satisfy. I highly recommend it.

You're right, Zeno, it's not like Escudo at all really. To my tastes it's better. Not as consistent, but better when in the zone.Zeno Marx":fj9l3zug said:#2015 is also my main smoke. I like it young, but most seem to like it aged. Either way, it's fantastic. I don't know how it falls in relation to Escudo, though. I haven't smoked Escudo for many years. #2015 is definitely not similar to my memory of old Escudo.

Peter Stokebye Luxury Bullseye Flake - a little sweeter
C&D Bayou Morning - spicy
Hearth & Home Louisiana Red - just got this one, sweet, slight fig and spice flavor, really great
Hearth & Home Anniversary Kake - tangy, slight sweetness, creamy and it has a slight rum topping
Just a few I really like.

You heard right, Tilley. Jiminks on Tobacco Reviews gives a great review on it, and you won't find any better resource for tobacco(s) than Jim. But, in short it's really good stuff. It's sweet and tangy, has some nice fig/plum flavors from the perique but also a little spicy but not overly so. Lights easy, loads easy, priced right. This is one I'll be ordering a lot of!Tilley4":xwgz5iyo said:I have heard lots of good things about that Louisiana Red...
