I have discovered Escudo Navy Deluxe and I'm burning through tins like crazy but I'm looking for a bulk offering that I can buy that's similar... Any suggestions?

Stokkebye's Bullsye Flake. Luxury Bullseye Flake, that is.........

Close as horse shoes and hand grenades, but close as I've got in bulk. Others may have faired better..............

Some nice alternatives in my opinion:

Peter Stokebye Luxury Bullseye Flake - a little sweeter
C&D Bayou Morning - spicy
Hearth & Home Louisiana Red - just got this one, sweet, slight fig and spice flavor, really great
Hearth & Home Anniversary Kake - tangy, slight sweetness, creamy and it has a slight rum topping

Just a few I really like.

McC 2015 is my staple. A bit more full bodied, but never fails to satisfy. I highly recommend it.

Agree big time! IMO McClelland 2015 will make you forget about Escudo entirely!

Thanks for the responses!! The McClelland 2015 definitely sounds like something I would like as I love regular McClelland Virginias... I will ultimately probably end up trying all of these... I'm on a kick for this stuff...

#2015 is also my main smoke. I like it young, but most seem to like it aged. Either way, it's fantastic. I don't know how it falls in relation to Escudo, though. I haven't smoked Escudo for many years. #2015 is definitely not similar to my memory of old Escudo.

You're right, Zeno, it's not like Escudo at all really. To my tastes it's better. Not as consistent, but better when in the zone.

Old Nate nailed it. None are dead-on replacements for Escudo, but all are quality VaPers that are available at affordable bulk prices. Actually - with the exception of Bayou Morning - I prefer the other three over Escudo to be honest.

I have heard lots of good things about that Louisiana Red...
You heard right, Tilley. Jiminks on Tobacco Reviews gives a great review on it, and you won't find any better resource for tobacco(s) than Jim. But, in short it's really good stuff. It's sweet and tangy, has some nice fig/plum flavors from the perique but also a little spicy but not overly so. Lights easy, loads easy, priced right. This is one I'll be ordering a lot of!
