I know I probably should have posted this down in the Music topic, but I'm not sure how many of my brothers with knowledge of sonatinas visit down there. The video below has a lovely piano solo for background that is driving me crazy, as I can't find out who wrote it.

I've heard a Clementi sonatina (also in C) that was very similar. I also thought it might be early Mozart but it almost sounds like one of the sonatina composers like Clementi, Kuhlau or Kuhnau.

Anyone know?

Hey man, my wife (she´s a pianist) and I both just listened and best we could come up with is Mozart. Sorry I can´t be of more help...

You're on the money with Mozart.
Me thinks it's Viennese Sonatina No. 1 Last movement
Happy listening!

Same here, I first got beguiled by the Clementi's in C.
But I then had an inkling it was one of those 6 "Viennese" sonatinas.
Happy to help; we should play these games more often.

Try to stump Yak on violin. Good luck.

(The mystery having been solved, I'm moving this downtown to the Music Hall.)
