bumping this because the stone you have is for if you cut yourself or get razor burn. sadly, i have very sensitive skin and use it almost every time i shave. it's invaluable if like myself, you go too long in between shaves and attempt to hack off the beard with all the grace of a barbarian sacking rome. i bought a dovo shavette on a whim because i couldn't afford the accouterments that you need to get a proper straight razor shave. i fully intend on getting one for Christmas though

congrats on taking the plunge, hope to be joining you shortly. also, i've found the osma soap to be really soothing, and make a rough shave go easier. also get some peraso pre shave cream if you can. feels great on the skin.
