A comparrison review of C&D Epiphany and Revelation Smoking Mixture. Epiphany is a blend presnted by C&D as being similar to Revelation. The Revelation came to me by way of a sharp eye towards the shelves during a visit to a B&M store in maryland, and the Epiphany came to me by way of a generous sample from Brother Natch, along with a goodly amount of various other exciting samples. With the samples brother natch sent to me with the Epiphany, along with samples he sent to me last time, added to a ridiculous amount of samples obtained from multiple other generous BoBs at various times, I could probably smoke nothing but samples from fellow forum members for the next year or two.
Important note: It came to my attention during the course of writing up this post that that Epiphany is supposedly only supposed to be similar to the original Phillip Morris version of Revelation and not the House of Windsor version.
Both of the tins of Revelation which I came across at a B&M in Maryland are no longer in my possession (one was traded away before opening and the other recycled since the contents were transferred to a jar), but my best guess is that they were the House of Windsor version. This of course means that this comparrison is kinda pointless, but what the heck. Might as well finish what you started, right? As you will soon see, your friendly neighborhood Frostman never let a minor thing like the obvious pointlessness of comparing two blends which really aren't supposed to be matches for one another get in the way of writing up a needlessly wordy and convoluted forum post and adding pictures just to use up a little extra bandwidth or whatever to boot.
Pics:
Left is Epiphany, right is Revelation. Brand new unsmoked cob for Epiphany, and the cob for Revelation has only had Revelation smoked in it.
