Interesting point re: just what cigar leaf is used, etc. If it was up to me I'd pick a nice Ecuadoran Sumatra or some of that '96 Habano that Pepin uses. But in pipe tobacco, where it plays a condimental role as opposed to the principal flavor role in a cigar...I don't know if that primo wrapper leaf would make that much difference...other than just knowin' it was there, of course.
