Yes...chance of tornadoes here. If I'm not here for a while :affraid:

Say what you will, but I'll take cold weather over that any time! We'll get ice and tornadoes here in Michigan but no where near the frequency of ya'll down south.

Big storm coming in means a guy hunkers down. Food supply check, bottled beverage check (booze and water), Batteries and radio check, pipes, tobacco and cigars a necessity, chill out, a must. Reality check, Spring's on the way. Not to worry; you won't miss very much .............Congress is gone fishin'. If your local government is like our's on Long Island, it's all screwed up also. Gas out of sight, forget about running away. Good news, nobody will come to take your guns and ammo because nobody will be able to reach you. Happy Days are here!

Yup, we're ready Marty.

Food, Water, Booze, Pipe Tobacco, all the necessities. Topped off the battery backup bank for my Ham Radio room, so I'll still have communications with the rest of the world if power goes out.

Plenty of candles, flashlights, LED Lantern, batteries for am/fm radio, weather radio cube, and handheld scanner. Plus I can always run my base scanners off the 12v system. A generator is here also - to top off battery bank if need be and for the intermittent running of the fridge.

Good to go, just waiting. I'm lucky enough to live 1/2 mile from my workplace, so worst case I can walk (or ski). My wife has plenty of personal time built up where she works, so this is the direction she'll probably go.

This house has Natural Gas for the Water Heater, Stove, and Floor Furnace. Even if power goes down we'll still have hot water, a stove to cook on, and some heat.

You guys/gals know how this crap works, the forecasters hardly ever get it right - at least not for Missouri weather. We'll see what happens...

Propylene glycol doesn't freeze, no need to panic, Rob.

You Missouri guys generally have a bad ice storm earlier in the season than this.

Hopefully it won't be bad or better yet the forecasters are wrong!

Eh I don't let it bother me I am just a little put off cause the groundhog had my hopes up and it just seems to be getting colder and whiter out...LOL

I had plans to go the B&M joint today and I shall make it there as soon as i feel like leaving my warm house

The snow is almost over (for now) here in KC. We have about 7 inches of snow and 20+ mph winds. It's crazy. The news keeps showing shots of the interstates and there are people stranded everywhere. The city is literally shut down. Gonna be some fun playing in the snow a little later.

That's why the tradition used to be that the groundhog was eaten. Good weather, it was grilled. Bad weather, you made a stew. First fresh meat of the year.  Good fortune for all, except maybe the groundhog.

Oh, don't worry....we aren't going anywhere today. And probably tomorrow as well. I don't have a problem driving in this stuff...just too many idiots to get around.

Amen to that, the snow doesn't scare me, it's the dipsh*ts that make me nervous.
