Over the years, one of my main "honeydew" chores is to do the clothes wash.
I've always been puzzled why "one" sock of a pair of socks goes missing... so often?
Today, while making my grandson's bed, the bottom sheet (which fits snuggly to the mattress, had two mismatched socks belonging to my wife in the corner when it was originally folded.
Is this where the missing sock goes and we throw the other one out and never notice?
BTW, I'm not adverse to wearing a pair of mismatched socks.
Any other theories?
