Hey all I picked these up a while back all belonged to the same smoker, unfortunately he passed away gave them to his friend who wound up selling them to me
I really dig the Cavalier one, I will probably keep it, if anyone else is interested in one send me a pm

They are ugly, but also kind of cool in an industrial sort of way. Any of them have acrylic stems?
 
I am not sure about the stems, and no I have yet to smoke any of them, I'm not really a metal pipe kind of guy, I just happened into them and figured you all would think it was funny a person would have that many ugly pipes, altho I really think the cavalier is cool, the funny thing is I really dislike briar cavaliers...LOL
 
From the Kirsten web site - it appears that every Kristen pipe is a user-selected collection of parts. So each one of these pipes was designed specifically for the "look" we see.

"At KIRSTEN, the spirit of invention lives on in every pipe we make. Because you don't order a KIRSTEN "off the rack." You choose the parts, and we build your pipe to order.

Go ahead. Design the coolest pipe you can.
For your Radiator Stem, choose a Full-Bent, Quarter-Bent or Straight stem in Silver, Brasstone, or Black (color does not affect price). Then add the price of the valve. "

It looks like all the stems are currently lucite. These may be from a different era with vulcanite.
 
I actually think the idea is interesting and looked at getting a new one at one point, but the Kirsten pipe company in Washington state, after a period of stating that they were about to reopen, announced that they were not going to be able to produce the pipes any more. The metal radiator body design is kind of neat, and they offered colorful acrylic mouthpieces for some pipes, and even a few people out there carving custom bowls.

Really nice set of Kirstens Harry. I have one but only smoke it on rare occasions. I never smoke it in public as I've gotten enough crap about what's in my pipe without a big bling of a pipe calling attention to me. I can think of better ways to meet my local police force. They smoke quite nicely though.

Harry I have a Kirsten but I don't have a cat. Love the two on the table and either will be fine. I'll swap you some tobacco for one of them. If I can choose I want the lap cat. :lol:

I usually ship a pipe small flat rate box, so thats almost $6, around here that's about thew equivalent of 100grams of tobacco

The kitties are beautiful. Mother and daughter/son?

They smoke well enough; I had one, sold it; story of my life. They are of good construction. The problem is that the bowls they come with are small. I think Mike Brisset makes custom bowls.

Good looking cats!  No, Aj...you can't have one.  Get a wig, put it in your lap, pet it...you won't notice the difference...except you won't have to dump kitty litter.
 
I've emailed Kirsten to see if they're still in business and if bowls and stems can be ordered.
 
I thought I saw a website fore Kirsten that seemed as though they were still operating and filing orders
 
As I recall they still have some medium seconds bowls in the clearance section as well as some meerschaum bowls from the early 60s. They are on the smaller side though (small, med, and large only) and have what they call a staghorn finish.
