My mother just died

Thanks Kyle. Both my folks are gone now and in a way I'm glad I'll never have to bury another parent.
Burying Dad was hard but it's damned hard to say goodbye to the woman that worked her fingers to the bone trying to raise four kids, went without food so that her kids could eat, bundled up in the winter in what few winter clothes she had and trudged through the snow to the woods to haul fire wood so we could be warm.
She was Golden!
The words of an old song keep running through my head, "Mothers just sleeping".
