Eh they server their purpose ok for me. It bugs the crap out of me when get really into a good scifi series and they only have half, the other half is on their dvd selection. I just get the streaming.
They were supposed to clear up issues like that--kind of a crappy deal to choose one or the other, or pay double, for something that was once an all-in-one package. It'd be more honest to say, "You get it all, just pay twice as much."

They've not been making the best business decisions lately.

How about Netflix? When they upped their pricing I dumped them. They wrote me several times trying to get me back...
Same here. That was almost 2 years ago and she still drunk-dials me occasionally.

I actually get these e-mails from Direct TV satellite TV service... A bit too informal for me. You provided a service that I paid for. Let's keep it professional. We did not have a relationship.
Those prostitutes!!!

Agreed. The wife and I have watched the first two or three seasons of so many series now...and it's made even worse for us as when we get that "Available on DVD" message we are completely hooped - Netflix doesn't offer DVD service in Canada.
Another one that frustrates me to no end is when they pick up the licence for a sequel, but not the original.

Still, it's one of the few places I can get my random documentaries and classic westerns, my wife can get her bad 80's romance comedies and sitcoms, and my boys can get childrens programing no matter the hour of the day. Honestly, if they broadcast the NFL and NHL, I would cancel my cable sub.

NOTE FOR NETFLIX USERS: Do not, under any circumstances, spend the day watching a 'Bob the Builder' marathon with your toddler, followed by 'Casino' with the wife. You will have rather twisted dreams; possibly involving 'Cameron the Constructor' opening a shop down the street from Bob - who calls upon his cousin 'Three-Finger Tony' to kneecap the playdoh contractor with the help of Dizzy and Muck. You may also learn that Dizzy is a sociopath who tends to take things too far...
