For the cellar, leave'em in the the original packaging or break'em down into mason jars?

I've went back and forth over the tin/bag vs jarring and came to the conclusion. You can never go wrong with jarring. The only consideration would be if you plan on reselling the tobacco later, then the original packaging would be the better bet.
 
I've aged them in the 8 ounce mylar bags for several years with no harmful results, also jarred them for long term storage, but had one jar mold on me. Only happened to me once, but kind of soured me on removing them from their bags for aging. Just my experience, others mileage may vary.
