But seriously, thanks to Cap'n Blackbeardhearse for sharing his map with us, to all me shipmates for contributing to such a hoard, and to Mister Smee for all his tireless labors in the hold (and his generous ladle with the rhum). Yo ho ho and a pint of brass monkey, says I, yo ho ho indeed...
 
Oh...I be thinkin' o' some Goslings Black Seal...the finest Bermuda Rum...ideal fer the makin' o' the official drink o' Bermuda...the incomparible 'Dark and Stormy'...a couple o' shots o' the Black Seal on the rocks in a Collins glass & then up to the top with a good Ginger Beer (aka: ginger ale). I use Reeds, but I guess Goslings puts out their own.
 
Dang! This is making me crazy! I know I had a couple of other bags of tobacco here that guys had sent in, and I can't lay my hands on 'em! I moved everything from the den out to the living room and set up one of those long cafeteria sized tables. I've got the shipping boxes down the center, all the tins and bags down one side and all the accessories down the other...all set out in order so they'll be easy to find. But somehow in the move a pouch of Dan and one of Peter Stockebye have gone missing! The dog doesn't smoke, so I'm safe there. Neither do my wife and daughter. I've gone through every single other box, every piece of furniture, the cabinets, the shrubberies...

Ah, hell...I'll go to sleep on it and look in the morning again.

Grumble, grumble...

PICK ORDER FOR ROUND ONE


I will initiate the official 'picking of booty' with my pick...which will occur at Noon Eastern. I'll then list my name before that item on the Booty List thread, indicating it is no longer available. From there I'll just try to keep up with things.

If there are any questions prior to starting, now would be the time.

There might be a short intermission between rounds, maybe five minutes.

Again, due to my glitchy ISP Server, if I'm off line for a few just keep going til the end of whatever round you're on and I should be back shortly (been kicked off twice already this a.m.

Unfortunately for me and fortunately for the rest of the crew I have grandfather duties ( B ball tournament and volleyball tournament sat and sun ) I will be in and out and check on my computer when I am in but hopefully My computer time will fall in my one hour window. I guess when I am at the bottom of the picking order and do not make my one hour window I loose my pick. I do not have access to the internet with my phone. Good Luck in the picking Brothers. I'm ready and waiting. I've printed out my list, picked out my top 20 and have numbered them accordingly. I should be able to make my selections within mere seconds!
 
I just had a thought, it might be helpful for BH and probably everyone else if we make sure the include the item number that we've picked as well. It would leave all the guesswork out. In a perfect world, an exact cut and paste from the number to the end of the description would be great.

...just a suggestion, not trying to start a mutiny on our wonderful captain.
 
I have the tobaccos numbered (the tins anyway) and that would help...make it a little faster to find the right spot on the 5 plus pages of the Booty List!!!

Just some final fiddling here and then we can get going.
 
Everybody better check out the end of the booty list if you haven't recently. There are now a total of 115 items.

Eleven minutes.

Spud...if you're not there to make your pick in round one you go to the bottom of the current round's list of names. If you don't show within one hour of that round going through nine other pickers, your name (for that round) will be dropped to last place in the whole thing. But when round two comes up, you've got a reserved slot in that round. If you're there to make your pick, great, if not your name drops to the end of that round's lineup.

So there's two chances for you to pick for each 'current' round.
