Stokkebye's Bulls Eye Flake is fantastic.Blackhorse":8116fn7y said:If you're willing to take a rope that's been sliced already...
1. Peter Stokkebye Bull's Eye Flake:
2. Davidoff Flake Medallions
3. Peter Heinrich's Special Selection: Curly
Now if you want to play with a rope...which is loads of fun...I'd suggest:
Gawith, Hogarth & Co.'s Sweet Rum Twist. It's strong, no doubt about it, as it's made from the same ingredients as their Brown Irish X, and the "sweet" designation doesn't mean it's a sweet blend, but rather that the sharp edges of the Brown Twist have been taken off slightly with the addition of a hint of sweet rum. They also do this with Whiskey, Maple and Cherry (yeesh). But the Rum is the best of the bunch for me.
Also - I think the Brown Pigtail is a good suggestion. But I'd sure stay away from the Black stuff...unless you really like Latakia blends, for that smoke-like flavor, as the black ropes, twists, etc. are very smoke flavored.
Lastly - you might check these out...the Synjeco ropes and twists. While still a strong smoke, I think they are less potent that the Gawith ropes.

My experience as well...I enjoy the unique presentation, but they are all too much for me.Ocelot55":clxv6155 said:All the ropes I've had have had tons of Vitamin N. I'm not sure if a mild rope exists, or at least I'm not aware of one.
