I think :santa: is an Independent, so I shall wish you all a politically free, Merry Christmas.

Be careful out there, and don't shoot your eye out!

Merry Christmas :santa: :rendeer: :santa: and Happy New Year to everyone here at BoB. I know others here have family/sons/and daughters serving in our military this holiday season and I wish them and their families a special holiday greeting as I personally know how hard this time of year can be without their loved one at home. May God bless all of you and protect them while serving away from home. :santa: :pipe:

I have a feeling it will, especially, come November 2nd, 2010. There might even be a vote for impeachment! Well, that might be a little too optimistic. :D

Its the night before Christmas
No smoking in the house,
I go to light just half a bowl
and the deed-holders throw me out!

So out in the cold
I stand, smoke and shake
Trying to enjoy
some iced university flake.

When from up on the roof
Snow fell on my head,
I stepped out and looked up
To see a man dressed in red.

He was finely done up
In a Scarlet Tux with a sash
and was puffing away on
a grand calabash.

I asked for his name
And then there was a pause,
He raised a bushy eye-brow
and said Santa Claus.

He said he was waiting
for his reindeer to come back,
At the last child's house
he had forgotten his sack.

So off of the house
he floated on down
and stood right beside me
and gave me a frown

"Out in the cold?" said he
"no smoking inside?"
I nodded my head
exhaled and sighed.

"Mrs.Claus is the same way
every now and again
More so after i smoke
some fine English blends.

Then from out of his pocket
He pulled out a pipe
A straight grained Canadian
My favorite type!

He said "Smoke this outside,
When the weather is cold
And the magic in the pipe
Produces warmth so i'm told!"

I quickly packed the pipe
My hands trembling a bit
I struggled with the match
Until i finally got her lit.

With the first cool drag
And much to my surprise
Santa Claus disappeared
When i opened my eyes!

With my new briar in my hand
I looked up at the sky
And saw a puff of white smoke
As Santa flew by.

And i heard him exclaim
As he rode out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all
And take care of the pipe!"

Isaiah 9:6 (King James Version)

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more."
- Dr. Seuss

May the Christmas spirit fill everyone's heart and mind this year!
