when I am smoking my Wife is always present and she will walk by and take sips from my pipe, she does smoke cigars, and she likes the taste of my pipe tobaccos, and then she asked me to make her a church warden, today she was smoking it for the second time and I grabbed a pic.
Any one else have their significant other steal a few sips from their smokes?

Before she was With Child, totally. She smoked rollups and Turkish Ovals as an occasional indulgence, and every so often something in briar got her interest.

Now she'll just sit nearby to bask in the sidestream... though again, just blends she likes.

Those smokes sound interesting, are roll ups just a hand rolled smoke? and what are turkish ovals?

Rollups are, indeed, just handrolled cigs. I think she smoked Bugler until I turned her onto the Daughters & Ryan products.

Turkish ovals are a style of cig, usually a very mild tobacco mixture, in the eponymous oval-shapped tubes. UNfiltered in the varieties I saw (Nat Sherman and Philip Morris.) Balkan Sobranie made them, though I have never seen nor smoked them.

The common factor is that the lady preferred an unfiltered smoke. Luckies now and again, too, come to think of it.

I guess you could say she liked the full flavor of the tobacco, when I smoked them stix I liked to smoke luckys now and then too, also camel unfiltered

Well, my wife don't smoke. But she likes me pipin'. Says it reminds her of her dad. As for roll ups, I'd highly recommend giving Prince Albert a try. I smoke it both ways.

My wife will take a puff or two of a cigar , or a pipe as long as its not a heavy Lat blend.

Mrs. E thinks the whole smoking thing a little silly. She tolerates my pipes, but is not afraid to tell me when she thinks it stinks. SG 1792 (ratoncito muerto she calls it) is not an option when she's home.

What's funny is that I've been a smoker since high school and never, not once, did I date a woman who smokes. It was never a conscious choice either. Weird, huh!?

my wife does not like it, and won't sit with me when I smoke. But she will share a cigar with me now and then. She only likes expensive cubans though... so she dont smoke much :)

Yep, except it's easier just to get separate pipes, which is how we roll. I'm stingy.

Because of the smell, or because it's full of rat poison (coumarin from the tonquin flavor)?
The smell. She positively hates it.

Is coumarin used as a pesticide? I didn't know that. Perhaps I should listen to my wife more!

Unfortunately, No. :(

BTW, My wife officially HATES the smell of Embarcadero. ( :( Double Sad :( ). Must be a wife vs. Princess thing. :p

Mine tolerates it well, but has no interest in partaking. She'll sit with me outside, but not inside. I think I prefer it this way. Its nice to have something it is just mine. She's purchased two pipes for me, too, the most recent was a 2012 Dunhill to commemorate the birth of my son, so it might even be fair to call her an enabler.

My wifeys hates the smell of my pipe smoke, thinks it is fruitless to buy so much tobacco and pipes. she understands i love it though and doesnt give me to much grief about it as long as i dont smoke in the house ohhh and guess what? all the tricks i tried when i was a teenager at my parents house that didnt work then still dont work now, like jamming a towel in the bottom of the door, turning the fan on with the windows open and spraying all the air freshener thats in the can. so once i found all this out for the second time in my life, i stopped smoken in the house, and shes happy, so im happy
